DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION: Advanced Composites, Inc. is looking for an intern who will work with the engineering department and complete various engineering projects.  The work will include fabrication, testing, and generating reports/technical documentation.  Many projects will require independent work while providing updates to the engineering team.

HOURS:  The ideal candidate will be able to work approximately 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week in the summer between the hours 7:00AM to 3:45PM Monday through Friday.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be a locale candidate residing in Utah. Interested students should be going into junior or senior year with a major in mechanical engineering, material science, or equivalent field.  Preference will be given to candidates with some of the following skills- welding, machining, electronics, fabrication, Solidworks, etc. In additional to applicable skills, coursework in materials and mechanics are a plus.
