The AS9100 Rev C standard was established by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) for the purpose of achieving significant industry improvements in quality and safety, and reductions in cost throughout the value stream.  Revision C incorporates many additional requirements to better address needs of the aerospace and defense industries in acquiring quality products delivered on-time.  Risk mitigation in new and ongoing projects, enhanced supplier management assessments and product conformity measurement standards are new tools within robust Quality Management Systems that are stringently audited to ensure complete implementation and thorough understanding throughout the organization.

“We have been very focused over the past year in addressing the AS9100 Rev C changes,” said Randy Philpot, President of Advanced Composites, Inc.  “Enhanced awareness of risk assessments over all aspects of product development and manufacturing as well as heightened value to be found in preventative action programs are greatly assisting our organization in building superior quality product to bet target customer needs and requirement.”

Advanced Composites, Inc. passed the audit without any significant findings.  The registration was granted by Eagle Registrations Inc, an ANAB Accredited and IATF Recognized organization.
